So today is suicide awareness day. 

And I thought long and hard about what I wanted to represent. Tomorrow is September 11th, and this really strikes a nerve with me because I used to go to nursery school in the twin towers. I may possibly not even be here today but thankfully I was in California at the time, I had a flight on the same day as 9/11 to New York but it was cancelled. 

I feel almost as if I was saved, and my hearts go out to everyone who died that day. This picture to me is so strong because it represents both things about the suicide awareness and 9/11. Two things which my heart really goes out to. 

Take a moment to reflect and think of the lives lost from suicide, and 9/11.
